FAQs

Quick answers about EV care. For anything else, reach us using the options below.

Why do EV scooters & bikes need general service?

Mechanical care is essential for smooth riding: lubrication of suspension/bearings, cone set tightening, and brake/caliper cleaning. It also includes drive system care (belt/chain alignment and cleaning) and proper washing to prevent rust. Regular service ensures safety and longer vehicle life.

Why does your EV need a deep clean?

Deep cleaning removes hidden dirt and grease from hard-to-reach areas, prevents rust/corrosion, improves component cooling, and helps identify early wear or loose connections. It ensures better performance and safety.

What is the problem if your wheel is wobbling?

Wheel wobbling indicates instability caused by a bent rim, worn wheel bearings, improper tyre fitting, a loose axle, or suspension play. Ignoring this makes riding unsafe.

Why is my EV battery draining quickly?

Quick drainage is usually caused by high-speed riding, frequent aggressive braking, or underlying battery health issues.

Why am I getting low mileage?

Low range/mileage is typically affected by incorrect tyre pressure, aggressive riding style, and the overall condition of the battery.

Why does my EV stop and show “Scooter issue – restart”?

This is often due to a low-voltage (LV) cable or wiring issue. Other causes include rear suspension damage affecting wires, BMS faults, or loose connectors. It requires a professional inspection.

Unusual sound in your EV vehicle? What could be the problem?

Since EVs are silent, noises indicate issues like worn bearings, brake pad rubbing, loose body panels, chain/belt misalignment, or suspension parts needing grease.

Front suspension – repair or replace?

Repair is possible for minor oil leaks, seal damage, or stiffness. Replacement is necessary if the fork is bent or has sustained major structural damage.

Can a deep discharged EV battery be recovered?

Recovery is sometimes possible if the battery is in sleep mode or only slightly discharged. However, if it has dropped to an extremely low voltage, recovery may not be possible.
